Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
We are actively seeking Systems Engineers with a minimum of 3 years' experience. Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or computer engineering. Specific skills may include the following:
Work in an enterprise IT environment with specific tasks related to Voice
Collaborate with network engineering and other telecom engineers in integration activities involving telephony or call center
Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of new voice infrastructure
Support implementation of next-generation voice technologies
Participate in the system security accreditation process
Provide certificate management support for secure systems
Assist with system upgrades, patching, and configuration
Support new site voice system standups
Support call center technology deployments, user training, and transition planning
Contribute to call routing and trunking design within enterprise voice platforms
Attend meetings with internal teams and clients to gather and understand voice system requirements
Monitor compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures
Gain hands-on experience with secure voice devices (e.g., VoIP phones, STEs, Viper) and infrastructure components (e.g., PBXs, encryption devices, call management servers)
Learn to provide Tier 4 engineering support under supervision
Learn and support platforms such as Skype for Business, Avaya Communication Manager, and other enterprise call center technologies
