Job description

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced estimator to generate, review, and organize repair estimates in Xactimate and Corelogic while collaborating closely with our field teams and internal office staff.

Job Responsibilities

  • Produce, review, and upload accurate initial and supplemental insurance restoration estimates in Xactimate and Corelogic.
  • Produce, review, and generate change orders while applying critical thinking to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Document and monitor file assignments, statuses, and project progress using company software and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Track timelines for pending or complex issues and provide timely status updates in Xactimate and Corelogic.
  • Understand and apply guidelines for multiple TPA network programs.
  • Communicate with supervisors, field crews, and office staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and estimates.
  • Initiate and manage formal communications with insurance carriers, agents, TPAs, and clients regarding estimate and repair matters.
  • Research and interpret federal, state, and local building codes and jurisdictional compliance requirements.
  • Utilize Google and Microsoft suite to track and monitor field inspections, estimate uploads, onsite work crews, and change orders.
  • Contact local subcontractors and vendors to request bids, estimates, and supporting documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Maintain and demonstrate advanced knowledge of Xactimate and XactAnalysis (2+ years required).
  • Advanced proficiency in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and property restoration estimating.
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods and restoration practices.
  • Strong understanding of insurance terminology, principles, and processes.
  • Familiarity with CoreLogic/Symbility estimating software (preferred).
  • Familiarity with DocuSketch, CompanyCam, Matterport, and MICA software (preferred).
  • Highly proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven strong work ethic.
