Job description

The Property & Casualty Insurance Analyst provides essential support to account management, marketing and production teams by assisting with day-to-day servicing, data analysis, and renewal processes for commercial insurance accounts. The analyst ensures accuracy and timeliness in documentation, supports the marketing process for renewals and new business, and contributes to data-driven client insights.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Policy Servicing and Endorsement Support: Assist with endorsement requests, including:
  • New and Renewal Business: Prepare binders, issue certificates of insurance, and generate Auto ID cards, assist with invoicing.
  • Certificate Requests: Process client and third-party certificate requests accurately and promptly.
  • Audits: Support audit processes by gathering necessary policy and client information.
  • Mid-term Policy Servicing: Request updates to exposures or endorsement changes as needed. Follows up to ensure processed endorsements are provided in a timely manner.

Marketing and Renewal Support
  • Support marketing efforts by preparing pre-renewal summaries and renewal materials.
  • Assemble and format complete submission packets for carriers and underwriters.
  • Utilize P&C analytical tools and software to enhance submission quality and improve data accuracy.
  • Maintain clear communication and follow-up on outstanding items to ensure smooth submission and renewal workflows
  • Assist with online quoting in carrier portals, as needed.
  • Track and organize marketing responses, proposals, and carrier quotes for analysis.

Data Management & Analysis
  • Assist with data requests and maintenance of accurate policy and exposure data.
  • Order and track loss runs from carriers.
  • Prepare loss summaries, premium and loss summaries, and loss stratifications for client and internal review.
  • Compile and organize data for submissions and analytical reports.
  • Run and interpret reports from experience mod analysis, property valuation and other insurance data platforms as needed. (Ie, ModMaster, CoreLogic, etc.)
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date documentation in the agency management system.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action.
  • Process management skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn and utilize industry specific software as required.
