Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Desktop Support Level III to join our team at Dobbins AFB. This is a complex, multi-year contract supporting the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve customer reported system incidents, problems, and events.
  • Administer accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot system hardware and software.
  • Identify possible causes of degradation of system performance or availability and initiating actions needed to mitigate this degradation.
  • Knowledge of systems administration concepts.
  • Knowledge of the operations and processes for incident, problem, and event management.
  • Knowledge of electronic devices (e.g., computer systems/components, access control devices, digital cameras, electronic organizers, hard drives, memory cards, modems, network components, printers, removable storage devices, scanners, telephones, copiers, credit card skimmers, facsimile machines, global positioning systems [GPSs]).
  • Knowledge of successful capabilities to identify the solutions to less common and more complex system problems.
  • Develop a trend analysis and impact report.
  • Leverage knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS), as needed.
  • Support iOS and Android Operating Systems and VMware WorkspaceOne Mobile Device Manager
  • Troubleshoot VMware WorkspaceOne enrollment issues.
  • Troubleshoot VMware WorkspaceOne Application Assignment issues.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Three or more years of experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity.
  • Experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent.
  • Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid.
  • Fantastic installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities.
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of VMware WorkspaceOne Mobile Device Manager
  • Troubleshoot VMware WorkspaceOne enrollment issues and VMware WorkspaceOne Application Assignment issues.
  • Excellent vertical and lateral thinking.
  • Superb time management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS), as needed.
  • Forbearing, flexible, and supportive
  • ACTIVE IAT II Security Plus + Certification
  • Provide onsite support at Dobbins AFB.

Clearance:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance
