Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company's Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico.

Astro Pak is seeking a Senior Director of Sales, Core Services to lead our national outside sales organization and drive profitable growth across regulated and technical markets. This executive leader will oversee Regional Sales Directors, strengthen strategic customer relationships, expand market share, and elevate sales performance through coaching, accountability, and operational alignment.

This is a highly visible, field-oriented leadership role for a proven sales executive with experience leading distributed technical sales teams in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or regulated service environments.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Directors and field sales teams nationwide.
  • Execute growth strategies focused on revenue, account penetration, customer retention, and share-of-wallet expansion.
  • Build a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and technical credibility.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Estimating, Business Development, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to align growth objectives and execution.
  • Support strategic customer relationships, key account development, and complex sales opportunities.
  • Establish sales processes, performance metrics, forecasting discipline, and talent development programs.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities while strengthening Astro Pak's presence in existing markets.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related technical discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including leadership of sales managers or distributed field sales teams.
  • Experience in technical, industrial, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or regulated service environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated success driving growth, developing sales talent, and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong business acumen, technical sales aptitude, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Collaborative, servant-leadership mindset with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
Preferred Industry Experience

Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Food & Beverage, Industrial Services, High-Purity Systems, Mechanical Services, Construction, Engineering Services, Technical Field Services, Chemical Cleaning, Precision Cleaning, Water Treatment, or related markets.

Travel

This is a field-based leadership position requiring 50%+ travel to customer sites, regional offices, trade shows, and leadership meetings.
