Job description

iFAST Global Bank Limited (iGB) is seeking a highly motivated and results-focused credit professional to join our Team as a Senior Credit Executive. The role combines risk assessment and product development responsibilities. The Senior Credit Executive supports Head of Lending in managing existing and new lending business expansion by conducting counterparty onboarding, risk (with focus on credit risk) and consumer duty assessment and making recommendations for approval/rejection of credit applications. The role holder works closely with Digital Personal Banking, Business Banking and EzRemit, Risk, Legal, Compliance and other relevant departments of the Bank and the Group. They are expected to actively contribute to development and enhancement of the Bankโ€™s Credit Risk System by formulating requirements, conducting assigned testing exercises and providing feedback to project teams.

The role will include performance of other work assignments within Lending and risk management areas as required by the bank.

Counterparty onboarding and product assessment
  • Conduct onboarding and credit assessment of corporate customers. Recommend credit limits for approval.
  • Assess Life Insurance policy products in line with the established assessment framework.
Credit risk assessment and management
  • Act as the first line of defence in managing credit risk in lending business. Review, challenge and recommend for approval credit limit allocation requests within the authority and scope of Lending Division.
  • Work closely with Risk (second line of defence) to support robust credit risk monitoring and reporting.
  • Monitor product and customer performance through existing reports. Collaborate with Bank and Group stakeholders in managing risks.
New product launches
  • Work closely with Lending team colleagues to prepare new product introductions, conduct Consumer Duty and Risk assessments.
  • Be a member of Project Working Group for relevant lending products. Support the Division Head in identifying and formulating user requirements.
  • Liaise with Project manager and relevant departments to ensure timely progress on product development and implementation schedule.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and follow up on required remediation and enhancement actions to support timely completion / delivery.
Credit Risk System development
  • Be a member of Project Working Group for relevant lending products.
  • Support the Division Head in identifying and formulating user requirements.
  • Liaise with Project manager and relevant departments to ensure timely progress on product development and implementation schedule.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and follow up on required remediation and enhancement actions to support timely completion / delivery.
Product performance monitoring, analysis and management information
  • Contribute to identifying reporting enhancements and development of analytics in cooperation with internal IT department and Group IT colleagues, including ITP teams and Power BI team.
  • Prepare relevant inputs for executive committee packs.
Consumer Duty
  • Monitor product performance from consumer duty perspective. Provide updates for the CD Management pack.
  • Collate and analyse customer feedback received via multiple channels, propose solutions and enhancements and follow through to implementation.
  • Ensure product T&Cs and Key Features documents are up to date and timely revised to support any new product features being introduced.
  • Contribute to enhancement of Consumer Duty dashboard to ensure relevant lending product and customer related parameters are captured and acted upon.
Methodologies, policies and procedures
  • Actively contribute to improvement of existing and creation of new product methodologies, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain review schedule and ensure Lending related policies and procedure are up to date.
  • Maintain the inventory of Lending related policies and procedures and ensure timely updates are caried out. Maintain lending part for Master Key Policy Tracker up to date.
Other ad hoc and permanent assignments
  • The role holder will be required to perform other duties within Lending area and beyond as required by the bank.
Effective time management & collaboration
  • Be an active member of the team, operating in a fast-moving, customer-centric and risk-aware culture in the Bank.
  • Make effort to properly understand the products, client / counterparty requirements and business of the bank.
  • Consistently demonstrate effective time management, prioritising to meet deadlines.
  • Actively collaborate with colleagues in other departments and wider iFAST Group, contribute to projects and perform ad hoc assignments as and when required by the Bank.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Good understanding credit risk. Min 2 years of credit analysis and credit risk management experience.
  • Proven analytical, research and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain focus and discipline under minimum supervision.
  • Comfortable operating in a hectic and complex environment, ready to step out of comfort zone.
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree preferably in business, finance, accounting.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office. Familiarity with AI tools and ability to productively use them.

The job holder has access to the bankโ€™s clientโ€™s records, financial data and contracts and agreements.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal working hours apply: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Bank operates Flexible working arrangement, whereby minimum 60% of working time must be spent in the office, which is strictly monitored.
