Job description

SUMMARY

The District Manager II is responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse including maintaining adequate levels of inventory, maintenance of the warehouse location, ensuring high levels of customer service, and management of warehouse personnel in accordance with Company policy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Educate client base on all Owen Oil Tool Products. Emphasis will be on new Owen/Core Lab technology, which is inclusive of Technical Services Products.

  • Manage warehouse personnel to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and the warehouse is kept in neat, orderly condition at all times.

  • Conduct regular client visits throughout the area to support and strengthen customer relationships.

  • Establish and maintain customer database.

  • Responsible for managing the district's controllable costs.

  • Ensure adequate inventory is in place to meet customer requirements.

  • Coordinate replenishment orders through forecasting module and safety stocks.

  • Ensure all corporate and government regulations are met and adhered to.

  • Ensure a "0" accident plan is in effect for the assigned area of operations.

  • Ensure clients have access to products/services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

  • Coordinate on-call schedules with other location personnel to ensure coverage at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Five plus years of experience in an Oil and Gas related industry required.

  • Minimum two years prior manager/supervisory experience.

  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures preferred.

  • Microsoft Office Suite or related software required.

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a good driving record required.

  • Ability to supervise and direct other employees so that the efficiency of the location's operations and equipment remains in good working condition.

  • Ability and knowledge to maintain applicable safety programs and good housekeeping practices.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
