Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Full Time


Southeast Oregon | Rotating Schedule | $30 - $39/hr


A leading healthcare system in Southeast Oregon is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join its full-time laboratory team. This role offers broad exposure across core lab disciplines, a collaborative clinical environment, and the opportunity to live and work in a scenic rural community with excellent work-life balance.


Responsibilities include: performing routine and complex laboratory testing (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, serology, and blood bank), specimen collection via venipuncture and skin puncture, operating and maintaining lab equipment, documenting and reporting results, supporting transfusion services, and participating in a shared on-call rotation.


Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field, ASCP certification (MLS or MLT), and at least 6 months of clinical laboratory experience across core lab functions. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards required.


Compensation & Benefits: Hourly pay range of $30 - $39, full-time (40 hours/week), rotating schedule with shared call, and a comprehensive benefits package.
