LOCATION: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

BASE SALARY: $140,000 to $175,000
HOSPITAL: 350 bed acute care hospital
IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Candidate must have 5-7 years proven experience in leadership in Cath Lab clinical and administrative functions, business development, expanding and building new programs, working collaboratively with community partners, physicians, patients, staff, vendors and hospital administration.
  • Seeking a candidate that actually held the position or similar title of Director of Nursing Cath Lab and multiple units for more than 5 years in an acute care hospital
  • MUST HAVE A Masters Degree in NURSING
DESCRIPTION:
  • The Director of Nursing for the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Stress Test units is a high-level leadership position responsible for the 24-hour clinical, administrative, and strategic management of specialized cardiac and vascular care settings.
  • This executive role ensures that complex procedural departments deliver top-tier clinical outcomes while remaining compliant with healthcare regulations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Direct day-to-day operations and 24-hour clinical workflows across the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Interventional Radiology suite, and Stress Testing units.
  • Physician Alignment: Partner closely with cardiologists, radiologists, and hospital leadership to grow, scale, or expand the vascular and cardiac programs.
  • Quality & Compliance: Enforce stringent institutional standards of care, maintaining continuous audit-readiness for The Joint Commission (TJC) and acute cardiac state certifications.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage departmental fiscal budgets, capital equipment requests, medical supply chains, and staff productivity benchmarks.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate specialized nursing personnel, tech teams, and charge nurses to ensure optimal skill mixes for emergency and elective procedures.
  • Age-Appropriate Patient Care: Oversee clinical frameworks capable of delivering safe, age-specific procedural interventions across diverse patient demographics.
