About the role
ย 
The Copy Supervisor will conceptualize and develop materials for assigned products, and train direct reports to enhance their abilities. You will participate in strategic promotional planning for assigned products and present concepts and promotional materials to the client. You will also partner with the Art Directors to develop creative concepts and executions for assigned products.ย 
What you'll do
  • Write effective promotional copy, acting as a primary copywriter on at least one product.ย 

  • Review material produced by direct reports, as applicable, including review of final manuscripts, as applicableย 

  • Supervise senior copywriter(s), copywriter(s) and junior copywriter(s), as applicableย 

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of assigned therapeutic categoriesย 

  • Participate in strategic promotional planning for assigned productsย 

  • Understand and ensure compliance with the editorial processย 

  • Demonstrate mastery of manuscript submission process, including referencing and regulatory details of assigned product(s)ย 

  • Interact with Art Directors to develop creative concepts and executions for assigned productsย 

  • Present concepts and promotional material to the clientย 

  • Assist in product launchesย 

About you
  • 5-7 years of professional writing experience, with at least 2 years of pharmaceutical advertising copywriting experienceย 

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experienceย 

  • Demonstrated track record for independently producing successful, compelling, and strategically sound pharmaceutical promotional materials in 2 or more therapeutic categoriesย 

  • Comfortable working within tight deadlinesย 

  • Advanced Mac experience with all Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suiteย 

$115,000 - $135,000 a year
