The Reserve Aurora


The Reserve in Aurora, Colorado, offers a vibrant lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty and modern amenities. At the heart of The Reserve is the clubhouse, where residents can gather for social events, fitness activities, pickleball courts, and relaxation by the resort-style pool. These thoughtfully designed spaces create opportunities to connect, unwind, and make lasting memories.

Pay:$23.00 per hour

Benefits:

New hourly full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week, will be eligible for the Company medical, dental and life insurance plans the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Full-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off ("PTO") in accordance with the Company policy at a rate of 120 hours per year.

Full-Time team members are eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.

Part-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state guidelines.

All team members 21 years and older are eligible to participate in the J.F. Shea Co., Inc. 401(k) plan after completion of 30 days of service.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Lifestyle Coordinator assists the club in achieving the most critical goal; bringing the community to life through events, programming and communications and more. To do this, the coordinator supports the Lifestyle Director in working directly with all the departments of the Club, developing activities and events to support a healthy, happy, fulfilled lifestyle. Primary responsibility is the accuracy and timeliness of information and events posted in the communication portal for the Members.

The Lifestyle Coordinator must be able to deploy a wide variety of skills, including personality, copywriting, web content managements, email/text/alert deployment, team player, and more. This position may require working some nights and weekends.

This position reports to the Lifestyle Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf (BSRG) to support the achievement of company goals.
  • Work directly in tandem with the Lifestyle Director to maintain the accuracy of the communication platform for the Members. Copywriting and content creation a must. Update the member website, My Trilogy Life daily to maintain all community activity and event information.
  • Lend support in sourcing new vendors to provide lifestyle activation for the Club.
  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle Director to create a comprehensive member program that includes monthly activities and events for recreation, enrichment, creative expression, adventure and travel. Events will be held on-site and off-site.
  • In addition to local programming, support all national programming through communication and participation.
  • Host Club events and activities, and conduct satisfaction surveys for all events as required.
  • Support strategic partnerships with the Shea Community Representatives to share information and create engaging lifestyle events to showcase the Trilogy lifestyle and attract new buyers.
  • Create an environment of open communication to Members to share ideas.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Experience in recreation management or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Background in hospitality industry or travel industry preferred.
  • Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification, and other safety certifications, as required by the Club.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel.
  • Must have excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to respond to the needs and requests of members, guests, and the community association.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, with an ability to think, work, solve practical problems, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position generally operates in a professional indoor office environment, but may have some exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and occasionally native wildlife, when on the grounds of the facility or attending outdoor events. There is routine use of standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear; sit, stand and walk (occasionally for an extended period), use hands to fingers, handle or feel, bend, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
