They will also play an important role in opportunity management, market intelligence, client targeting and the ongoing development of bid content and processes.

This role is ideally suited to an individual with several years' experience in business development and bid management within a consultancy, construction, infrastructure or professional services environment, who is looking to take the next step in their career and become a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.

While the successful candidate will work within established tools and processes, they will also be encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge current ways of working and play a meaningful role in improving the bid process. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a friendly, supportive environment where input is welcomed and valued.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Management & Proposal Development

  • Produce high-quality submission documents using Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
  • Manage tender portal submissions and maintain relevant supplier registration platforms.
  • Conduct lessons learned reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor frequently asked questions and maintain standard responses across key themes such as ESG, sustainability, health & safety and social value.
  • Promote best practice in bid management and contribute to the enhancement of tools, templates and processes.
You will be a motivated and commercially aware business development professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be equally comfortable coordinating complex bids, producing high-quality written content and engaging with senior stakeholders.
Most importantly, you will be someone who takes ownership, looks for ways to improve how things are done and is passionate about helping teams win work.
Skills and Experience

  • Support in your personal development through the marketing team CPD programme and the firm's Learning & Development programme.
  • Hybrid working with most days in the office but with the option to spend some working from home (with flexibility around this when the need arises).
