Through television, YouTube, educational events, digital content, community outreach, and existing client events, our firm produces a significant amount of educational and brand-focused content every single week. We are looking for the right person to help us amplify that content, grow our brand presence, and help more families discover our firm through social media.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Social Media amp; Content Specialist to lead and execute the firm’s organic social media efforts across all major platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
This is not a “post graphics and move on” type of role.
We are looking for someone who understands how to:
  • distribute content strategically,
  • capture attention,
  • drive engagement,
  • create compelling copy,
  • build audience trust,
  • and help convert attention into meaningful business opportunities
  • has general understanding of how marketing funnel to lead produced to conversion into sales opportunity works in the B2C space
This role will work closely with the marketing team and leadership team to help grow both the W.A. Smith Financial brand and Bill Smith’s personal brand through consistent, high-quality content distribution and engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the Social Media amp; Content Specialist, you will:
  • Manage and execute content distribution across all social media platforms
  • Create social media copy, captions, titles, thumbnails, and posting assets
  • Schedule and publish content through social scheduling platforms
  • Support the growth of Bill Smith’s personal brand social presence
  • Engage with comments, messages, and audience interaction professionally and consistently
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on monthly content planning initiatives
  • Capture organic internal content around the office, events, and community initiatives
  • Assist with recording YouTube videos, Ascend 360 Insider episodes (weekly video email series), and founder/CEO content
  • Coordinate with external video editors during post-production
  • Monitor analytics, engagement, and KPI performance trends
  • Help improve and optimize the firm’s Content OS over time
  • Identify opportunities to improve social media reach, engagement, and lead generation
