Student Associate Work-Study

The student associate position in the Department of American Studies provides vital office support to faculty, staff, and students.

  • Provide front-desk coverage by answering main line phone system, greeting guests as they enter the office, managing incoming/outgoing mail and shipments, and maintaining an organized, clean office environment.
  • Assist with departmental events.
  • Assist with restocking the copy room with supplies.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining clean departmental seminar rooms.
  • Assist with any other office-related projects.

Required Qualifications

  • The ability to work well with others and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Be a welcoming presence and greet all guests at the front desk.
