Job description

Paradigm Treatment Centers and Ridge RTC are seeking an Education Coordinator to support the educational programming within our residential treatment programs. This role is responsible for coordinating and facilitating academic services for adolescents and young adults in treatment while collaborating closely with families, external academic systems, and internal clinical leadership. The ideal candidate brings empathy, organization, and the ability to integrate educational structure within a therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support program leadership and clinical teams in implementing organizational values across all aspects of program services and client care.
  • Coordinate and maintain individualized educational plans in collaboration with parents, guardians, and external academic systems.
  • Facilitate and maintain daily classroom structure, ensuring a productive, supportive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
  • Provide support in clinical programming as needed, including facilitating group conversations and modeling youth-sensitive interactions.
  • Coach and support staff in best practices related to educational services within a residential treatment setting.
  • Assist with discharge planning related to academic transitions, utilizing discharge tools and tracking progress through the EMR.
  • Monitor resident sharps and valuables, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and reporting of safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and consistent communication with clinical, billing, and utilization review teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential treatment, facilities management, education, or supervisory roles preferred.
  • Prior experience in a residential or behavioral healthcare setting required.
  • Experience in a classroom or educational setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (KIPU experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with adolescents, young adults, families, and multidisciplinary teams
