Job Summary:
The Staff Integration and Test Engineer, Connectivity is accountable and responsible for the Integration and Testing of the AeroConnect and legacy Honeywell Jetwave Products. In this role, the individual will be supported by a team of engineers who contribute to the execution of development and testing activities. The Staff Integration and Test Engineer, Connectivity will collaborate closely with team members in the Gilching, Germany office, the Engineering team in Brea, and Product Management to ensure alignment with company priorities, strategic vision, business objectives, ROI and product deployment plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Lead the Integration and Testing of the Connectivity products for deployment into the field
    • Lead the Document Delivery creation of the Testing documents
    • Lead the Testing of the product, properly planning and coordinating the activities based on delivery needs
    • Assist with onboarding personnel to create the Connectivity Technical Team in the SPI Brea Office
    • Support the key relationships within the organization for execution - Gilching office, Engineering Leadership and Customer Management personnel
    • Monitor issues, deviations or departures from commitments and solve or notify the appropriate stakeholders
    • Identify and suggest resolutions for process problems
    • Support customer visits, sales, and the program office as required
    • Assist in leading Connectivity Engineering resources in the overall performance of the group

Requirements
Core Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related technical field
    • 10+ years of experience in product development, integration, and field deployment, with a strong focus on system-level integration and testing
    • 7+ years in integration and test lead roles
    • Expertise in system integration practices, verification & validation methods, and structured testing processes for complex hardware/software products
    • Hands-on experience planning, executing, and reporting on integration and test activities in alignment with program schedules
    • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing technical test documentation to meet engineering, program, and customer requirements
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues, evaluate root causes, and implement effective solutions
    • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional and global teams, including engineering, product management, and customer-facing groups
    • Strong communication skills to clearly present test results, participate in customer discussions, and support program reviews
    • Prior aerospace or in-flight connectivity/IFE product experience preferred

Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on the level, skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
