Job description

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Coordinator for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role requires working onsite from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of new customer programs from contract award through production readiness, including detailed planning, risk assessment, and milestone tracking.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to translate customer specifications into actionable internal plans.
  • Coordinate the setup of new part numbers, routings, work instructions, tooling/masking requirements, chemical processing parameters, and quality controls.
  • Facilitate internal and external kick-off meetings, program reviews, and gate reviews to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Track and report on program status, risks, issues, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, first-pass yield, and cost performance.
  • Support customer communications regarding program milestones, changes, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and company quality requirements during program launch.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lessons learned to enhance future program integrations.
  • Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation for new programs across multiple facilities.

Work Environment

The role is based onsite at the South Seattle plant, with an initial requirement to visit another facility one day a week for the first 4-6 weeks to meet with the General Manager and familiarize with the team. The position supports two General Managers, mainly at the Seattle plant, with some responsibilities extending to another plant.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
