Job description

Key Responsibilities:


Material Handling & Sorting
- Sort, count, and dump aluminum cans and other recyclable containers.
- Separate and stack empty beer kegs according to designated procedures.
- Sort pallets by size and condition for reuse or recycling.
Transaction & Documentation
- Accurately track and record counts of sorted materials.
- Assist with maintaining transaction records for redemption tracking.
Equipment & Facility Care
- Operate pallet jacks and assist with light equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with loading/unloading of cooperage and recycling materials.
Team Support
- Collaborate with warehouse team members.
- Follow directions from supervisors and adapt to operational priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse, recycling, or material handling.
- Forklift certification is a plus (training available).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong reliability and work ethic.

Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly without assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an 8–10 hour shift.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, subject to temperature variations and loud noises.
Employment Type
