Job description

Overview
Mano Lani is looking for Network Engineers/Technicians to provide hands-on technical support for the full spectrum of USMC PKI Network Operations, including Certificate Authority services, Certificate Validation Infrastructure, Hardware Security Modules, virtualization, storage, server management, event management, and custom application and scripting support. Personnel in this role operate across classified and unclassified networks in a mission-critical environment requiring precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular infrastructure health checks for CA and CVI systems; generate status reports in SharePoint and report discrepancies to Government leadership for remediation
Monitor CA connections to HSMs and take corrective action on alerts within required response timeframes
Publish Certificate Revocation Lists on schedule for Issuing and Root CAs; validate CRL currency and accessibility by CVI servers
Configure, deploy, and maintain Certificate Authorities, CVI responders and repeaters, and HSMs as directed by Government leadership
Perform Tier III troubleshooting for PKI-related incidents including cryptographic logon, certificate validation, and domain controller certificate issues
Maintain VMware virtual infrastructure including servers and VDI environments; manage NetApp SAN storage provisioning, snapshots, LUN security, and recovery procedures
Execute server patching within required timeframes; maintain ACAS compliance and support IAVM and vulnerability finding remediation
Execute Configuration Management for PKI middleware, desktop validators, server validators, and all PKI software and hardware baselines
Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and COOP plans for assigned infrastructure components
Resolve Event Management tickets on a regular basis; submit and execute Request for Change tasks through the Change Review Board process
Develop, test, and implement custom PowerShell scripts and other automation tools to streamline PKI operational processes
Support PKI tactical training delivery to deploying Marines; travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of tactical events, equipment maintenance, and working groups
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II baseline certification required; must be maintained throughout the contract period of performance
Hands-on experience with DoD/NSS and Only-Locally-Trusted PKI operations and maintenance
Experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft ADCS, Keyfactor EJBCA, ISC CertAgent, Red Hat CA, Axway VA Suite, VMware, NetApp, SafeNet/Thales or nCipher HSMs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PowerShell scripting in a DoD PKI or network operations environment
Familiarity with MCCOG event management tools, E-ITSM/Remedy, and ACAS
Experience supporting simultaneous NIPR, SIPR, and Gray network environments
Security:
Requires the applicant to possess and maintain an active security clearance for the position. Eligibility requirements include ship.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
