About the Role

The Facility Engineer Coop supports the Facilities Engineering team in the planning, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of building systems and infrastructure. This role provides handson experience with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, utilities, and building automation systems whileassistingwith technical projects, documentation, and facility performance analysis.

This position is ideal for engineering students pursuing a career in facilities engineering, mechanical systems, reliability engineering, or operations support.

WhatYou'llDo

At Axcelis, you will work with multiple positions within the Facilities department, exposing you to work at all levels of the department, such as:

  • Facilities EngineerLevel -

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) itemsandinspectionsusing aComputerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

  • Perform machinery space rounds, equipment rotation,andsystemmonitoring

  • RO/DIskid,Grade4IWastewater Treatment Plant, Process Water

  • Assistin troubleshootingand unexpected repairsofmechanical,electrical,plumbing and HVACsystemswithlicensed technicians

  • Supervisor Level -

  • Oversee day-to-daysiteoperation

  • Grounds, Security &Janitorialneeds

  • Special events,hazards,operations

  • Operate andmonitormultiple sites usingtheBuildingManagement System (BMS)

U.S. BASE SALARY RANGE

$20.42 - $35.70

This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.

Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on

multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work

location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as

you develop within the role.

Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the

Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular

employees working 20+ hours a week).
