Aramark is currently seeking a Cook for the National Bank Daycare Food Service

Position: Cook
Salary: $23.00–$25.00 (depending on experience)

Schedule / Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to production guidelines, standardized recipes, and children’s allergy requirements
  • Perform cooking and finishing of dishes
  • Optimize food and labor costs
  • Deliver meals and snacks to the daycare floor
  • Ensure compliance with management programs, as well as health, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • Participate in inventory control and stock-taking
  • Monitor and maintain quality of service and customer satisfaction
  • Be able to adapt to operational needs
  • Perform any other related tasks as required
Qualifications
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry
  • Experience as a cook in a daycare (CPE) is a strong asset
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to daily work
  • MAPAQ food hygiene and sanitation certification
  • Diploma in food service management / dietetics / institutional cooking (DEP or equivalent)
