Job description

Job Summary:
  • Deliver and Install major household appliances to customer's homes (Laundry, Kitchen, Cooking and Refrigeration)
  • Load and unload appliances into trucks
  • Connect water and gas lines and check for leaks.
  • Dismantle and reassemble appliance.
  • Instruct customers on how to operate the appliance properly.

General Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent service and customer care during the delivery and installation of appliances in customers' home.
  • Assist in unloading and unboxing merchandise.
  • Deliver new product, move/remove old appliances.
  • Disconnect and reconnect appliance(s). Ensure all gas and water lines are connected properly.
  • Observe and test operation of appliance following installation, make initial installation adjustments, as necessary.
  • Instruct customers regarding operation and care of appliance.
  • Protect customer's home while working by cleaning work area of all debris.
  • Maintain professional appearance.
  • Legibly complete all necessary paperwork
  • Maintain stock of parts used in on-site installation.
  • Perform daily safety check on work vehicle(s).
  • Coordinate with sales and service departments to share information across the organization.
  • Able to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.

Abide by CDC guidelines for in home delivery
$14.00 per Hour + $3.00 per stop.
Requirements
  • Education: Training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience
  • Experience: 2 years of related experience
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Heavy lifting required up to 100 lbs.
