Elbow River Casino is a premier entertainment destination known for providing exceptional guest experiences, quality food services, and outstanding customer service. Our Food & Beverage team takes pride in delivering fresh, well-prepared meals while creating memorable experiences for our guests.

We are looking for a Part-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced cook, someone looking to expand their kitchen skills, or a culinary student seeking hands-on experience while completing their studies. With flexible scheduling options, this role can be a great fit for those balancing school, other commitments, or looking to build a career in hospitality.


What You'll Do

Prepare and execute menu items to established standards, ensuring proper seasoning, temperature, portioning, and presentation

Support daily kitchen operations in a busy, team-focused environment

Complete daily food safety documentation, including temperature logs and cleaning checklists

Maintain an organized and well-stocked workstation, including line drawers, prep areas, and service stations

Assist with food preparation and staging to ensure smooth service and minimize menu item shortages

Follow safe food handling practices and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen

Work collaboratively with the culinary team and assist with other duties as required


What We're Looking For

Previous wok cooking experience (1 year preferred)

Ability to speak mandarin or Cantonese 

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
