We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our skilled nursing facility in Stevens, PA. The Cook will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in accordance with planned menus, established portion control procedures, and dietary guidelines to ensure residents receive quality meals in a safe and sanitary environment.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare all served food according to planned menus
  • Coordinate food production to align with meal service schedules
  • Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders
  • Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, portion sizes, and plate presentation standards
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment and appliances
  • Adhere to sanitation, infection control, and food production regulations
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
