Line Cook / Pizza Marker Responsibilities:
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Perform tasks with speed and accuracy (meet ticket times)
- Set up and maintain a clean work station following protocol
- Adheres to sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards
- Maintain quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- Comply with all rules and policies outlined in the MCBC employee handbook
- Perform other duties as directed by management

Requirements
Line Cook / Pizza Maker Requirements:
- Two years of experience in a similar professional environment, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook.
- Experience working with a pizza oven
- Ability's to work in a face paced environment
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Ability to work as a team member
- Follows directions and instructions
- High school diploma or GED.
- Positive outlook and cooperative with all employees
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Familiar with industry's best practices (safety/sanitation)
- A culinary degree is a plus.
