Food Services Second Cook

Windsor Locks Middle School

Position Start Date:ย  ASAP

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Food Services, is responsible for the following:

Responsible for the complete operation as Second Cook at Windsor Locks Middle School.ย  Assist the cook manager as instructed for the completion of daily menu adhering to established sanitation and safety guidelines.
Proper storage of food delivered to include assisting in receiving the weekly Sysco grocery order.ย  Ensure proper customer and client relations are maintained at all times.
Cashier handling, complete other tasks/directives as instructed and deemed reasonable by cook manager or food service director.



Serve Safe Required every 5 years
Adhere to the Respect of Fair treatment policy.
Qualifications:ย  High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); previous experience preferred. ServSafe Certification is required and provided by our lunch program. Every three years employee must get recertified.
Pay Rate:ย  Salary and benefits per contract.ย  Probationary period is 90 working days at which time the pay will increase per the contract.ย 





Days/Hours:ย  Monday through Friday 6:45 am - 1:15 pm
