Cook 5:30 am - 1:30 pm
Rome Health is seeking experienced cooks to join our Food and Nutrition team. Our cooks are responsible for preparing patient, resident and employee meals and must be knowledgeable in food preparation techniques, including the ability to read, write and adjust recipes.
Knowledge in food safety and sanitation is essential to maintain health standards and ensure regulatory guidelines. A cook must be able to multi-task and ensure cooking activities are carried out effectively, promoting a positive work environment.
Culinary training or two years experience as an institutional cook is required. Food Service Sanitation and Safety Certification is preferred.
Our kitchen is open 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 30 p.m. with shifts varying based upon position. Weekends and holidays are required. this is a Per Diem Position.
