Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager - Operations to support a high-visibility mortgage servicing engagement in Coppell, Texas. This Long-term Contract position will partner with program leadership, business teams, and technical stakeholders to keep initiatives organized, aligned, and moving forward. The role is ideal for someone who can manage documentation, coordinate across functions, and provide clear reporting that helps leaders make informed decisions.

This is a 7-month contract position

Hybrid work schedule with offices located in Coppell, Texas

Must have mortgage servicing experience


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate governance activities by organizing meetings, preparing updates, and following through on action items and next steps.

• Maintain core program documentation, including schedules, tracking logs, dependency records, and other project management materials.

• Partner with operational and technology teams to collect updates on readiness, open risks, and interdependencies across workstreams.

• Monitor progress across servicing operations, testing efforts, data conversion activities, training plans, control processes, and cutover preparation.

• Document decisions, assumptions, issues, and mitigation strategies to support consistent program communication and oversight.

• Create clear reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for leadership reviews and governance discussions.

• Support readiness evaluations by gathering supporting materials, coordinating stakeholder discussions, and summarizing key findings.

• Surface cross-functional obstacles and communicate emerging concerns to program leadership in a timely manner.

• Contribute to planning for future work by outlining proposed workstreams, support needs, governance approaches, and resource considerations.

• Assist in preparing final observations, readiness summaries, and recommendations for executive audiences.

• 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or program support roles.
• Background in mortgage servicing, mortgage operations, loan servicing, or closely related financial services environments.
• Experience supporting large, cross-functional initiatives involving operational readiness, transformation, or conversion-related activities.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technology stakeholders while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear documentation and executive-facing materials.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools, status reporting, dashboards, and presentation development.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing risks, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
