ROLE OVERVIEW
MCD Partners is looking for a Reporting & Analytics Manager to lead the development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of client reporting across our media accounts. This role will be responsible for turning campaign data into clear, actionable insights while also improving the systems, workflows, and processes we use to deliver reporting to clients.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working across paid media platforms, website analytics, tagging, conversion tracking, and dashboarding tools. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CLIENT REPORTING & INSIGHTS
  • Own the creation and delivery of recurring client reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific reporting.
  • Translate performance data into clear insights, trends, and recommended actions.
  • Partner with media teams to ensure reporting aligns with client goals, KPIs, and business outcomes.
  • Improve the quality, consistency, and timeliness of client reporting.
  • Help simplify complex data into reports that are easy for clients to understand and use.

DASHBOARD DEVELOPMENT & DATA VISUALIZATION
  • Build and maintain dashboards that clearly communicate campaign performance.
  • Use tools like Funnel.io, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to aggregate and visualize data.
  • Create scalable dashboard templates and reporting frameworks that can be used across multiple accounts.
  • Ensure dashboards are accurate, clean, and structured around meaningful performance indicators.

  • Work with internal teams to ensure conversion signals are properly defined, tracked, and reported.
  • Use GA4 to analyze website performance, user behavior, traffic quality, and conversion paths.
  • Use Google Tag Manager to help QA tags, events, pixels, and conversion tracking.
  • Identify tracking issues, data inconsistencies, and reporting gaps.
  • Partner with media teams, development teams, and platform reps to troubleshoot measurement issues.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
  • Improve the process of delivering reports to clients by creating more efficient workflows, templates, QA processes, and automation where possible.
  • Help standardize reporting across accounts while allowing for client-specific customization.
  • Document reporting processes, data definitions, and measurement frameworks.
  • Reduce manual reporting work by improving data aggregation, dashboarding, and repeatable reporting systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in digital media reporting, marketing analytics, or performance marketing analytics.
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4, including events, conversions, traffic sources, and user behavior reporting.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and an understanding of how tags, pixels, and conversion events are implemented.
  • Experience using Funnel.io or another data aggregation platform.
  • Experience building dashboards in tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to QA data and identify inconsistencies across platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly to both internal teams and clients.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple reporting deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in an agency environment.
  • Familiarity with paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube, programmatic platforms, or similar channels.
  • Experience working with CRM or offline conversion data.
  • Understanding of lead generation, ecommerce, ROAS, CPA, CPL, LTV, and funnel-based measurement.
  • Experience improving reporting workflows or building reporting infrastructure from the ground up.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Clients receive accurate, timely, and insightful reports.
  • Internal teams have clean dashboards and reliable data to make optimization decisions.
  • Reporting processes become more efficient, scalable, and standardized.
  • Measurement gaps are identified and resolved quickly.
  • Reports move beyond data delivery and help clients understand what happened, why it happened, and what should happen next.
