Waterpark Front Desk Cashier
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Front Desk Cashier. In this role, you will deliver warm, friendly, and attentive service to create an exceptional guest experience. You will operate the front desk POS, assist with cabana and premium seating check-ins, support towel desk operations, and help maintain smooth waterpark flow. You may also receive commission opportunities on cabana sales and team members with an entrepreneurial spirit can increase their earning potential while upholding the Kalahari Promise each day.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll ensure to greet guests warmly, answering questions clearly, and resolving issues quickly so everyone feels welcome and cared for. By staying positive, organized, and supportive with both guests and coworkers, you will help create a smooth, fun, and stress-free experience for all.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
  • Must be able to greet guests with energy, a genuine smile, positive body language, focused eye contact, and in a timely fashion.
  • Follow correct credit card handling procedures; process orders by recording orders and computing bill.
  • Ensure friendly and courteous customer relations at all times, identifying and welcoming current patrons and work to identify and grow future business through guest relations.
  • Work outdoors during the season our outdoor waterpark is open.
  • Assist with ongoing projects, additional job duties as assigned through managers.

What We're Looking For
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • At least one year of experience in similar guest-facing or service-oriented industries is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work well in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds when moving towel carts.

This is a part-time position.
