Job Overview: Provide leadership, supervision and direction for convenience store during assigned shift. Responds to and resolves customer inquiries and concerns, while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Schedule Available: 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM, Sunday - Thursday. Friday and Saturday's Off.

Create Your Path: The Work You'll Do:

  • Prepares, directs and supervises employee assignments to ensure efficient labor utilization and effectiveness in meeting store objectives. Effectively communicates tasks and priorities.
  • Follows up to ensure proper task completion and adheres to store and department policies and procedures. Responsible MOD providing quality customer service, making quality decisions while keeping within policies and procedures.
  • Responds to and resolves customer inquiries and concerns, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Coaches department staff on policies, procedures, customer service, and job responsibilities.
  • Supports store safety and sanitation programs.
  • Ensures that store products and displays are of proper quality and are properly stocked and merchandised to plan.
  • Performs cashiering and stocking duties as needed.
  • Manages all aspects of shift operation; including verifying deposits and sales information and ensuring that all store equipment operates correctly.
  • Scanning deliveries from vendors into handheld PC. Ordering groceries, tobacco, cigarettes and a variety of other products sold in the store.
  • Leads, mentors, coaches, provides guidance support and motivation to their staff.
  • Prepares performance reviews, team building activities, handles employee performance management with input and partnership from Store Manager. Consistent in in-the-moment coaching and occasional development coaching. Will participate in hiring and termination activities in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  • Responsible for training, managing attendance, timecards, and scheduling of team members.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • One or more years of experience in a supervisory role in retail, restaurant or convenience store.
  • Basic PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communications skills: ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to pass basic math test.
  • Working knowledge of cash register operations.
  • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including on feet 90% of time.
  • Capacity to handle and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
