Job Summary
ECTC is seeking part-time instructors to teach in-person courses in the Industrial Maintenance Technology Curriculum: Electrical Theory and Concepts, Electric Motor Controls, Programmable Logic Controllers, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Maintaining Industrial Equipment, and Robotics. Applicants should possess excellent computer, communication, and presentation skills to develop and deliver on-site and online program-related materials, as well as in-person laboratory experiences.
Job Duties:
1. Provide classroom, online, and laboratory instruction related to Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Curriculum
2. Prepare lesson plans and syllabi, maintain records, and report on student attainment and progress.
3. Participation in Adjunct Faculty Professional Development Activities
4. Commitment to teamwork
5. Set an example of appropriate dress and professional behavior for students
6. Enforce high expectations related to safety, student dress, and professional behaviors, including punctuality, respect for leadership, teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills.
7. Maintain order and discipline in the teaching/learning environment
8. Understand and implement workplace organization (5s) standards
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in any degree AND
2 years of work experience in Industrial Maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, along with 4 years of related work experience.
