Position Summary:

Seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer/Technician responsible for supporting manufacturing equipment design reviews, installations, commissioning, startup activities, vendor buyoffs, equipment modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and experience with industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environment.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 4+ years of PLC Programming & Troubleshooting experience
  • 6+ years of overall PLC and Industrial Controls experience
  • Experience with one or more PLC platforms:
    • ToyoPuc
    • Allen-Bradley
    • Siemens
    • Omron
    • Mitsubishi
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical Circuits and Industrial Control Systems
  • Ability to read Mechanical and Electrical Drawings
  • Equipment Installation, Startup, Commissioning & Validation experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Associate Degree/Technical Degree in EET, Industrial Maintenance Technology, or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Industrial Maintenance experience
  • Industrial Robot Programming & Teaching
  • AGV/AMR setup and programming
  • Safety Scanner configuration and programming
  • Industrial Networking (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, FL-Net)
  • Automotive Manufacturing experience
  • OSHA 10 Certification

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (including international travel)
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
