Job description

Location: Onsite position (10 days’ office and 4 days leave 16 days’ work or 3 days off in east coast and they have to travel and expenses will be paid by the company) San Jose, Nashville and Milwaukee. These are the current sites; you would travel to and the expenses will be paid by the company Job Description We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team as a consultant to assist with commissioning efforts. This role involves ensuring that all commissioning expectations are met with precision and efficiency. Rockwell 5000 experience is a must and must have done commissioning for controls Responsibilities · Set motor protection parameters. · Configure VFD parameters. · Verify motor rotations. · Ensure belt tracking and MDR card settings are correct. · Verify field IO and ensure E-stop devices are installed per drawing. · Set and test MDR power supplies. · Power up panels and ensure all PLC and devices are communicating with assigned IP addresses. · Program CAN gateway and check MDR. · Complete all checks in the commissioning check sheet. · Assist the controls resources with commissioning tasks. · Perform HMI IO checks and base code functionality checks. · Manage material flow, traffic, jam, and merge logic. · Ensure E-stop code functionality and 3rd party/PLC interlocks are in place. Essential Skills · Proficiency in Rockwell 5000. · Material Handling Equipment (MHE) experience. · HMI and PLC programming skills.
