Key Responsibilities1. Account Management & Client Relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts (commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, etc.)
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Understand customer operational goals, pain points, and facility needs
  • Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
2. Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies
  • Generate proposals for DDC systems, upgrades, retrofits, and service agreements
  • Collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to develop accurate project scopes and pricing
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives
3. Technical Solution Development
  • Work with engineers and project teams to design DDC/building automation solutions (HVAC controls, energy management systems, BMS integrations)
  • Interpret plans, specifications, and sequences of operations
  • Recommend system improvements, upgrades, and energy-efficient solutions
  • Stay current on controls technologies


4. Project Coordination & Execution
  • Coordinate with project managers, field technicians, and subcontractors during project lifecycle
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and closeout processes
  • Ensure alignment between customer expectations and project deliverables
  • Help resolve project issues, scope changes, and scheduling challenges
5. Financial Oversight
  • Manage account profitability, including margins and cost controls
  • Review and approve proposals, change orders, and service agreements
  • Forecast revenue and maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting (CRM)
  • Ensure timely billing and assist in collections when necessary
6. Customer Support & Service
  • Act as escalation point for service or performance issues
  • Coordinate service teams for maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization
  • Promote service contracts, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades
  • Ensure systems are operating efficiently and meeting client expectations


7. Compliance & Documentation
