Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and distribute data across internal and external sources
  • Develop analytical data products and reporting solutions that translate complex datasets into actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner with the Power BI and Reporting team to validate data accuracy, enforce quality standards, and resolve discrepancies
  • Architect and implement database schemas aligned with business logic, optimizing for performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  • Administer and maintain data warehouse environments, including access controls, security policies, and user permission management

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python or Rust for data ingestion, transformation, and integration across diverse sources and APIs
  • Strong SQL competency, including schema design, object and permission management, query optimization, and adherence to development best practices
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric/Power BI for orchestrating data pipelines and managing enterprise data warehouse environments
  • Self-directed learner with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience with cloud data engineering concepts and data science methodologies is highly preferred
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define data specifications, and deliver high-quality data products
  • Knowledge of the multifamily real estate industry is a plus
  • Working knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks such as Node.js, React, or TypeScript is a plus
  • Additional experience with Azure services and cloud infrastructure is a plus
