Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician II to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and is comfortable working with high-speed production equipment, conveyors, motors, and automated machinery. Candidates with experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrician, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, or Manufacturing Maintenance Technician are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour

Shift Options:
2nd Shift:
Tuesday-Saturday | 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
3rd Shift:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Install, adjust, and repair conveyors, wrappers, case erectors, formers, and other automated equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair 480V three-phase motors, controls, and electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
  • Replace defective components, test equipment, and make final operational adjustments.
  • Complete preventive maintenance work orders using a CMMS.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders.
  • Monitor parts inventory and communicate reorder needs.
  • Follow all OSHA safety procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), GMP, and food safety standards.
  • Wear required PPE and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Apprenticeship, technical training, or equivalent maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience working with:
    • 480V three-phase electrical systems
    • Motors and motor controls
    • Conveyors
    • Packaging equipment
    • Automated production machinery
    • Preventive maintenance programs
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience using CMMS software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Electrical and packaging equipment experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts when needed.
  • Must supply basic hand and power tools in a rolling toolbox.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely lift and move equipment and components as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment around moving machinery.
