The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and hands on Corporate Controller to lead all accounting operations and financial reporting across our growing, multi site organization. This role is based on site in Somersworth, New Hampshire and requires periodic travel to our Brea, California headquarters to support alignment across locations.

This position will be instrumental in ensuring financial integrity, supporting executive decision making, and driving process improvements in a fast paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

Financial Leadership and Reporting

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Support executive leadership with board reporting, financial presentations, and investor or lender reporting
  • Drive meaningful variance analysis and financial insights

Accounting Operations and Controls

  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and fixed assets
  • Strengthen internal controls, policies, and audit readiness
  • Identify and implement process improvements for scalability and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and tax requirements

Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Finance

  • Lead cost accounting including standard costing, job costing, and variance analysis
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to monitor labor, materials, and overhead
  • Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting
  • Support pricing, margin analysis, and operational performance improvements

Audit, Tax and Compliance

  • Lead external audits and coordinate audit preparation
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure policy adherence
  • Maintain compliance within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment

Technology and Innovation

  • Champion AI and automation initiatives within finance
  • Streamline workflows and reduce manual processes
  • Support digital transformation and scalable financial infrastructure

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead and develop the accounting team

What You Bring

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CMA required
  • 7 to 12 plus years of progressive accounting experience
  • Manufacturing experience required with medical device or regulated industry preferred
  • Multi site and or private equity backed experience preferred

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
  • Deep expertise in cost accounting within manufacturing
  • ERP system experience required
  • Advanced Excel skills with BI tools such as Power BI a plus
