Job description

Controller

CFS is partnering with an established $30M digital media organization to identify a strategic and hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and support HR administration. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting leader looking to make a significant impact within a growing company while partnering closely with executive leadership. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite in Waltham and a salary range of $150,000-$160,000.

Controller Responsibilities
  • Lead all day-to-day accounting and finance operations
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and internal controls
  • Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance activities
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
  • Support retirement plan administration and related compliance requirements
  • Partner with leadership on operational and strategic initiatives
  • Oversee HR administration, including benefits coordination, employee onboarding, and policy management
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and employment regulations
Controller Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
