Plant Controller
Lead Financial Strategy as a Plant Controller
LaSalle Network is hiring a Plant Controller for a global manufacturing leader in Manchester, Conn. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering with operations to drive business performance. As the Plant Controller, you'll serve as a strategic business partner to site leadership, oversee all financial operations and play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, improving processes and delivering meaningful business insights. What You'll Do
  • Lead all financial activities for the manufacturing site, including cost accounting, general accounting, inventory, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, corporate policies and local regulations
  • Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis, recommendations and insights that support business decisions
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, forecasting process and long-range financial planning
  • Establish and monitor key financial performance indicators to improve operational performance
  • Lead internal controls, audit readiness and compliance initiatives
  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including financial commentary and strategic analysis
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk, improve efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships and contribute as a key member of the site leadership team

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
  • CPA, ACCA, CIMA or ACA designation preferred
  • Seven to 10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in cost accounting and financial planning
  • ERP implementation experience is a plus
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive organizational change
