POSITION SUMMARY: The Real Estate Controller will serve as a strategic financial partner to executive leadership, helping drive operational efficiency, portfolio performance, and scalable financial processes across a commercial real estate platform. In this role, you will support the Accounting team by managing financial statement preparation, overseeing cash management, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while streamlining processes for efficiency and growth. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Controllership Level DutiesPrepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.Manage cash flow operations, including tenant payment processing, disbursements, and bank reconciliations.Maintain general ledger integrity, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.Support the firm's development projects, preparing budgets, loan requests, construction draws, and overseeing construction accounting.Maintain detailed vendor records to facilitate 1099 reporting and compliance.Prepare or review CAM reconciliationsLead special projects related to financial growth and process improvements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
