Summary:The Controller reports to the CEO is responsible for direct oversight of day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting, and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability. This position will provide financial and accounting guidance to the organization as well as establish internal controls to ensure proper transactions and reporting are done.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, partnering with department leaders to align financial plans with organizational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of controller or experience or in similar role
  • BA/BS in Accounting required, MBA/MS preferred
  • Proven experience in finance management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop, mentor, and lead highโ€‘performing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, fostering collaboration across departments and organizational levels.

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting and ERP systems, with expertโ€‘level Microsoft Excel skills and experience leveraging financial reporting tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fastโ€‘paced environment.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct supervisory responsibility over the accounting department.

This position works in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
