Control panel wirers typically do not earn $500,000 annually; such high salaries are usually associated with executive, specialized medical, or high-level corporate roles. Some highly experienced professionals in certain industries, like surgeons or CEOs, may reach this level, but it is uncommon for trades like wiring control panels. Most control panel wiring jobs pay significantly less, often in the range of $40,000 to $80,000 per year.

They read and interpret electrical schematics, connect wires, and install components like relays, circuit breakers, and switches within control panels.
