Job description

About Company:

In 1971, Ray Biggins and John Morrisroe saw an opportunity in a simple wood stain, Olympic Stain. With the spirit of true entrepreneurs, they took a risk, buying inventory and storing it in Johnโ€™s dadโ€™s old chicken coop. This humble beginning marked the birth of Parksite, a company that would soon revolutionize the building products industry.

Fast forward to 1989, when Rayโ€™s retirement brought about another bold move: the creation of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This decision transformed Parksite into an employee-owned company, giving every associate a personal stake in the companyโ€™s success. With a shared vision, our team of employee-owners has driven the company forward, fueled by innovation, quality, and exceptional service.

Our commitment to these values led to significant milestones, such as the acquisition of Atlantic Plywood in 2018, which expanded our reach and strengthened our position as a leader in the distribution of residential and commercial building products. Today, Parksiteโ€™s legacy of innovation and entrepreneurship thrives, with over 20 employee-owned locations across the Midwest, Eastern, and Southeastern US.

At Parksite, we offer more than just top-tier building products and expertise; we provide a place where associates can build their careers, share in the companyโ€™s success, and make a lasting impact. Our top-notch benefits packages, inclusive company culture, and commitment to career growth create an environment where talent thrives. Additionally, we believe in giving back, offering our team opportunities to participate in community outreach programs and events.

Join us at Parksite, where a risk taken in a chicken coop has evolved into a powerhouse of the building products industry. Come be part of our journey and see what makes Parksite a great place to call home.
