Job description

Job Summary

The Electrical Panel Builder assembles, wires, and tests electrical control panels and sub-panels in accordance with ISO quality standards, engineering drawings, and work instructions. This role requires experience in control wiring, blueprint reading, and use of electrical testing equipment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
  • Lay out, drill, tap, and assemble electrical enclosures and sub-panels
  • Perform control panel wiring, labeling, and component installation
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems using voltmeters and other tools
  • Follow work instructions, job packets, and material flow processes
  • Complete production documentation and reports accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2–4 years of electrical assembly or panel building experience
  • 3+ years of control wiring experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
  • Experience using measuring and testing tools (micrometer, voltmeter)
  • Basic computer skills (file navigation, time tracking systems)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet production goals
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Manufacturing/production environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and electrical components
