Solutions Project Coordinator (Telecommunications & Infrastructure)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Project Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and successful execution of enterprise telecommunications, network, voice, mobility, audiovisual, and IT infrastructure projects across multiple facilities.
This role is responsible for driving technology modernization initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors, managing project schedules, and ensuring infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, telecommunications, network infrastructure, and vendor coordination, with experience delivering enterprise technology implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage enterprise technology infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Coordinate activities among technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
  • Provide regular project status updates, reports, and executive-level communications.
Infrastructure Modernization
Lead and support enterprise modernization initiatives involving:
  • Voice over IP (VoIP) and Hosted Voice Services (HVS)
  • Enterprise Data Networks
  • Wireless Infrastructure
  • Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling
  • Public Address (PA) Systems
  • HVAC Monitoring Systems
  • Fire Alarm Infrastructure
  • Cisco Endpoint Refresh Programs
  • Emerging infrastructure technologies and strategic IT enhancements
Telecommunications & Voice Services
  • Coordinate enterprise VoIP/HVS transformation projects.
  • Develop implementation and migration strategies for voice modernization initiatives.
  • Manage site assessments, infrastructure inventories, equipment staging, deployment, testing, and migration activities.
  • Ensure smooth transition from legacy voice platforms with minimal operational disruption.
Vendor & Contract Management
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with telecommunications carriers, technology vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Coordinate vendor deliverables, schedules, and project commitments.
  • Participate in technology evaluations, procurement activities, and vendor selection processes.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
Asset & Infrastructure Governance
  • Oversee enterprise technology asset inventory and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure infrastructure assets are accurately documented within Asset Management systems.
  • Coordinate hardware lifecycle management, equipment replacements, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and project records.
Strategic & Special Projects
  • Support enterprise-wide IT infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Coordinate network integration and technology deployment projects.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic technology planning and infrastructure roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and technology adoption.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years of project or program management experience.
  • Proven experience managing telecommunications, network, voice, and enterprise infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience coordinating multiple vendors and managing third-party relationships.
  • Experience implementing and supporting:
    • VoIP / Hosted Voice Services
    • Enterprise Networking
    • Wireless Technologies
    • Infrastructure Modernization
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present project updates to leadership.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience managing multi-site enterprise technology deployments.
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking and endpoint refresh programs.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, and audiovisual systems.
  • Experience with IT Asset Management and infrastructure lifecycle planning.
  • Understanding of enterprise governance, compliance, and technology standards.
  • Experience supporting public sector, healthcare, or large enterprise environments is a plus.
