Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LDRP position at an OB Maternal Level 2 facility in Cape Coral, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of LDRP experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

Details
  • Family Birth Suites unit within a hospital setting
  • OB Maternal Level 2 designation with a Nursery Level 1
  • 24-bed unit
  • Labor patient ratio: 2:1; Postpartum patient ratio: 3–4:1
  • 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and night shifts available
  • 3 shifts per week
  • On-call required: 12 hours per calendar month
  • Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses within 15–20 minutes of the primary facility
  • EMR: Epic
Requirements
  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
  • Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
  • Nursing degree from an accredited program required, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
  • Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
  • Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
  • Full demographic information required for consideration, including address, email, full date of birth, Social Security number, and RN license number

  • Travelers are welcomed into the unit and are expected to function as core staff
  • Culture fit is important at this facility; flexibility and being a team player are highly valued
  • Orientation begins on a Friday and includes a remote component, with an in-person visit to the facility required for badge/ID pickup
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO will not be approved after submission
