Overlake Medical Center and Clinics has a current opening for a full time Quality Improvement Consultant, to join our collegial, collaborative and supportive team of dynamic individuals.
The Quality Improvement Consultant will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the Quality Program. This position coordinates the daily processes involved in the collection and analysis of quality outcomes, meets required outcomes reporting and implements quality improvement activities in collaboration with Leadership and Quality Committees. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and presents findings. Manage, track and evaluate performance measures, identify data trends, make recommendations for clinical quality improvement initiatives when appropriate on required measures such as but not limited to: Core Measures, Clinical Outcomes Assessment Program (COAP), PQRS (Adult HEDIS/NCQA measures), Meaningful Use Measures, and Specialty specific registry measures.
Hybrid role with three (3) days in office
Qualifications
QI Consultant:
  • Bachelor's degree required. BSN/RN preferred
  • Must maintain current licensure as appropriate to profession.
  • Minimum of two years ambulatory or acute care hospital experience as a clinician, clinical data abstractor or quality analysis/performance improvement required.

Sr. QI Consultant:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must maintain current licensure as appropriate to profession. Certification in Healthcare Quality preferred.
  • Minimum of five years ambulatory or acute care hospital experience as a clinician, clinical data abstractor or quality improvement consultant required. Relevant data collection and reporting experience including use of statistical methods, query development understanding strongly preferred.
