Position Overview

Retreat Behavioral Counseling Center is urgently seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our expanding team. This full-time remote position allows you to leverage your expertise in direct patient care while working from the comfort of your home in Los Angeles, California. With a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges in a dynamic and impactful setting.

About the Organization

At Retreat Behavioral Counseling Center, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality community health services that make a real difference in people's lives. Our mission is to empower individuals and families by providing essential resources and support for mental health and wellness. As part of a community health clinic network, we are dedicated to overcoming regional staffing shortages by connecting highly skilled professionals with facilities that urgently need their expertise.

Work Environment

Our remote work environment fosters flexibility and allows for a healthy work-life balance. You will be a part of a dedicated team that values collaboration and communication. We understand the unique challenges that clinical social workers face and provide a supportive atmosphere where you can address these challenges effectively. You'll engage with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including patients, healthcare teams, and community partners, enhancing your professional network.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans that address pre-crisis and crisis interventions, positive behavior support strategies, and risk management protocols.
  • Documenting patient interactions and treatment outcomes in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Utilizing evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as determined by your clinical team to ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective positive behavior support plans, facilitating better patient engagement and outcomes.
  • Participating actively in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain our clinic's standards and improve service quality.
  • Serving as a liaison to various service systems, ensuring that patients access necessary community resources and support services.
  • Promoting open and effective communication to meet contractual obligations and enhance the mission of our organization within the community.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to foster partnerships and explore funding opportunities.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings that align with your areas of expertise.
  • Embarking on other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, reflecting the evolving needs of our patients and clinic.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve come from diverse backgrounds and face a wide range of mental health and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. As a part of our team, you will advocate for these individuals, helping them navigate their personal struggles and connect with essential resources in order to improve their quality of life. Your role is vital in creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered to confront their issues.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of supervised clinical experience, with a strong foundation in both direct patient care and collaborative practice.
  • A current state license in good standing with the relevant State License Board to practice as a Clinical Social Worker.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are essential, we prefer candidates who have experience working within community health settings, particularly with underserved populations. Familiarity with telehealth practices and the use of digital health platforms will be advantageous due to our remote work structure.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a robust set of benefits:

  • Monthly productivity bonuses that reward your hard work and dedication.
  • Ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented work environment, with flexible scheduling options to support your personal commitments.

  • A 403B retirement plan with a 3% match to help you save for your future.
  • Assistance programs for first-time home buyers to promote community living.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Dependent care accounts to support your family needs.
