Position Overview

The Recovery Solutions Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a full-time Mental Health Therapist. This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while providing critical support to individuals grappling with mental health challenges. Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work environment, ensuring that you can provide therapeutic support from the comfort of your own home while remaining connected to our talented team. Although primarily remote, you may occasionally require flexible hours to accommodate client needs, including evening and weekend sessions for specific programs or community outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of clientsโ€™ emotional, social, and psychological needs to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
  • Provide one-on-one and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, ensuring a safe space for clients to explore their challenges.
  • Implement individualized service plans that address treatment objectives, continuously revising strategies based on client progress and feedback.
  • Actively advocate for clientsโ€™ rights, ensuring they have access to vital resources and support concerning social justice issues.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including community organizations, government agencies, and healthcare providers, to enhance service offerings and support clients in navigating the system.
  • Engage in program development and evaluation efforts, actively contributing insights and data for grant reporting and program improvements.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, ongoing training sessions, and community outreach activities to stay connected with departmental goals and community needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focused work will primarily involve individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances. By employing a trauma-informed care approach, you will help clients build resilience while enabling them to develop healthier coping mechanisms. Your expertise will play a critical role in guiding these individuals toward achieving stable mental health and social well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • An active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state where you will be practicing.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in social work principles and practices along with a commitment to the values of social justice and community empowerment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate strong therapeutic alliances with diverse populations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a nonprofit setting or similar organization is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with local community resources and an understanding of the socio-economic factors that impact mental health is desirable.
  • A background in trauma-informed care and social justice advocacy is an asset.
