Exercise Tolerance Testing Technician (ETT)

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $20.58 to $30.88 hourly, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.

Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

As the Exercise Tolerance Testing Technician (ETT), you will be responsible for assisting the RN's and the MD's in the preparation and administration of cardiac stress tests.

Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Patient Preparation
  • Orders ETTs and submits charges through the EMR (PARAGON)
  • Assists in the performance of the ETT including obtaining and documenting blood pressures, maximum heart rate and time on treadmill.
  • Assists in the recovery of patients post procedure and accompanies patients to next destination, i.e nuclear medicine, echocardiography or discharge.
  • Provides a safe environment and a caring atmosphere focused on the Patient's needs.
  • High quality compassionate care is our goal.
  • Outstanding customer service and exceptional care is the standard.
  • The ideal candidate is an energetic patient focused team member who can perform in a fast-paced environment and is able to function efficiently and effectively in emergency situations.

Required:

  • ACLS is required
  • Working knowledge of 12 lead ECG administration and medical terminology required.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a science or Healthcare Related Field
  • Bilingual English/ Spanish
